Dogs can have popcorn as long as it’s fully popped. Kernels are the problem.
We gave it to guard dogs as a reward. It’s not good to let a dog lick your open mouth.
Not really. You can check with the AKC on popcorn and any health site on the difference between dog saliva and human saliva and how dogs can deal with e-coli among other things - which could infect and potentially kill a human, or my 18 weeks of intensive dog training as a military working dog handler and the guy who led that course for over 20 years.
I said as a reward and it’s perfectly safe contrary to what you are saying.
Good luck with your business, but you may want to brush up so your clients aren’t misinformed.
Is it normal that I let my dog eat pop corn off my tongue?

Fully popped is still a choking hazard depending on the dog so it's best to keep it from them. Dogs don't need popcorn.
The open mouth contact is another matter. Pretty harmless in most cases. No more a threat than a human.

Wrong on both counts, but believe what you like.

I spend a lot of time with dogs both for my business and pleasure, so we can agree to disagree.

That's great for you. There is no reason for a dog to eat popcorn. So no need to look into it.
I have raised dogs since a child and I currently own a dog training business so you aren't the only one with experience.
Have a good day.

You said it was a dog walking business.
Why do you lie so badly?
