I have a close female cousin that claims to be a 52 year old virgin. She's never dated, and claims that she's never even been kissed. She does have a couple of male friends, Although she claims they're just her friends. She says that the reason why she's still a virgin is because having sex before marriage is against her religion. Is she normal or abnormal? How can I help her start dating and help her see that sex before marriage is ok, and help get her laid before she's 53?

    It is a normal belief for a Christian. So in that sense she is normal and being true to her beliefs.

    Well, the only thing that I can say is to mind your own business. Don't try to pressure her into having sex if she doesn't want to. Who knows? She might be asexual, but just doesn't realize it.

      I would mind my own business otherwise, but lately,she's been asking me for dating advice and telling me that "she needs a man". Btw, What is an "Asexual" exactly?

        An asexual is a person who doesn't experience sexual attraction, but can still experience romantic attraction. Or maybe she's demisexual, which means you can't be sexually attracted to someone unless you have a deep emotional bond.

    I knew a guy down the street from me who was 55 and said that he is a virgin because he doesn't believe in sex before marriage and that he doesn't want to get married because it would tie him down.

    Since the retarded Friends With Benefits era people have acted like sex was like fast food as opposed to at least Applebee's or T.G.I. Fridays or some other fine dining situation. I got out of that a while ago and I have been afraid of any other consequences.

    I'm male, 27 years old, and virgin. I don't feel it's not normal. I'm not Christian, but I also believe that sex before marriage is forbidden.
