  • I don't know whether you are intentionally misreading my first sentence or you simply do not understand simple English, either way if you were to read it in its entirety you would see I am proclaiming the exact opposite.
I fucking hate it when people try and argue semantics to make their point. If the word belief goes directly against the grain of science then why in most scientific conclusions do the authors write 'we believe' even if their results are conclusive?
Just to clarify the big bang is a theory, not a hypothesis, for someone so into science I figured you would know the difference.

    • So let me get this straight, when you said "I check nearly all the boxes required to be considered a psychopath" you are saying that it means the opposite, that you're not a psychopath?

You're really fucking stupid or have some kind of mental illness for affirming something, then declaring you meant the exact opposite. I find it funny and ironic you're putting it back on me, when clearly you're the one with the serious comprehension problems.

If I "check all the boxes" for some disorder, that means I have that disorder you fucking retard. So keep trying to invert the meaning, people will read this and agree that you really are a moron.

There is no scientific basis in your 'belief'. You attached the word 'scientific' to try to sound more credible and add an air of legitimacy to nothing more than a subjective opinion.

If and when scientists claim 'we believe the universe started from the big bang' what that means is based on all the scientific evidence, it can be concluded it came from a big bang. Semantics do matter in this case, a subject you have no knowledge of, nor of science as it is self-evident.

For a person who alleges to have many science degrees, you seem to be utterly clueless on it's principles and definitions.

Again your lack of scientific education is starkly apparent-the big bang is a hypothesis as well as a theory. Now why don't you look up what both words mean so I don't have to keep schooling you and wasting my time?

      • You are right with the very first part of my statement it would alone sound like I was declaring myself a psychopath, I then use the word however and give a conscious reason why I feel the way I feel which is not the result of some underlying mental disorder. Maybe I should of worded it differently. I suppose a second argument could be put forward that I said 'nearly all' which again presumes there is something missing for me to actually be considered a psychopath.
I know what both words mean, the big bang is a proposed explanation with supporting evidence ergo it's a theory not a hypothesis. A hypothesis is a proposed explanation which is yet to be tested, which is the basis of all protocols we write. I'm sure you already knew that though seen as you know everything. With that in mind though I would love to hear how the big bang can be considered both a theory and a hypothesis at the same time seen as they are two separate but commonly confused terms.
