Is it normal that I killed a deer with a .22 pistol?

    I am not to sure I believe this story. If this is true, he didn't die right away, right? At 25 yards?

      I shot him squarely on the top of the head (he was looking down) with a 36 grain plated solid, he died instantly. I can hit small targets with handguns very consistently at 25 yards.

        Oh ok i misunderstood you. I thought you were saying that you killed him with a head shot from a 22 @ 25 yards.

          I did. He was 25 yards away from me, and I shot him in the head.
