It's not normal for anyone to be to focused on one thing. What might help is only weighing yourself only when you first wake up. This way your scale doesn't fluctuate throughout the day, and you can get a more accurate depiction of your health rather than weighing yourself after every meal or something. It may even be better to weigh yourself every 2 or 3 days. I wouldn't worry much even if you gain a few pounds. It's not noticeable and stressing about it can actually make losing weight harder.
