Is it normal that i keep my neck brace on?

4 years ago I was in an accident. And since then I've been in a soft collar. And I haven't taken it off. Only when it gets dirty and stinky. I buy a new one. So for 4 years I've been in a neck brace. I wore it when I got married, when I go to work, when I'm with my friends, I even have sex in it. It's so fucking comfortable. I rely on it.
