Is it normal that i keep hearing my ringtone?

i remember reading somewhere that it's really common for people like teens/young adults to imagine the sound of their phone going off or actually feeling their phone vibrate but it was just their imagination due to the fact that we're so attached to our phones nowadays that it's an addiction-type symptom

My ringtone is three loud farts in succession

Yes, it's also normal to hear sounds like ringtones, the ringing on the door, waking up alarms and sounds you hear every day in your dreams. You hear them because you need to wake up for some reason, like having your neck in a bad angle (or even snoring).

It's normal to hear it when you are awake too, I always think I get messages on skype.

Dunno about that but what does make me laugh is when there is a room full of people and one phone goes off everyone starts grabbing their phone.

Sometimes my phone is actually ringing and gone unnoticed .. I wanted to find a solution for it hence I done a bit of research and find something trendy on the internet which is called Name Ringtone mixer on LAZYTONE (http://www.lazytone.me/)
it's actually a really good idea I think..you can even mix your name with the song you like .. anyone is using name ringtone here?

It mean's your on your phone to much. and Brain Cancer is starting!

Used to happen to me a lot. I think it's your subconscious self yearning for someone to ring you. Same when you get that feeling on your leg that makes your think your phone is vibrating.

Also I think I read once that it was being treated as an actual illness somewhere in Asia because people were hearing video game music.
Get rid of your ringtone and it will stop eventually.

I have this problem too, I stopped using ringtones years ago because it was driving me crazy. I just have my phone on vibrate instead.
