    Wow, this new "Notices" thing is great!

            I'm sorry about that, but I'm not the only one off topic here, just look at all the other posts here.

            To OP, I think you got it mixed uo because they used to call every vegetable pickled in vinegar "pickles", it was only recently that it started to apply to pickled cucumbers only.
