Is it normal that i imagine hurting almost everyone i meet

Everytime I meet knew people or I am say in class I can't help imagining picking up anything around me and hurting them with it, usually a chair is my favourite to imagine hitting people with, I like to imagine them rolling round on the floor and me stamping in their glasses to their face and watch them bleed and then possibly ending it off with throwing them out a window. I know it sounds like im crazy but I can't help but think other people must do this to, right?

Is It Normal?

  • I get those thoughts in my head all the time. I think of pretty brutal stuff sometimes. I also think about having sex with a lot of people too.

  • Quite a lot of people think about things like this. Doing it is what makes it not normal, thinking about it is very normal.

  • I know I do this. You should get into the martial arts! It's worked pretty well for me.

  • Lots of people have a highly developed combat instinct. As long as you don't act on it, you're normal.

Why don't you get into cage fighting or MMA to let it all out?

    • Think I might disapoint my folks if I do cage fighting since im just a 17 year old girl, I suppose it wouldn't be what may father would hope for me to do, maybe one day though.

  • I've read plenty of stories of people having demented thoughts. I often catch myself with these kinds of thoughts as well. As ItDuz said it's really a matter of action that defines whether it is bad or good. As long as you don't act on these thoughts you'll be alright.
