Is it normal that i idolize 'bad' people?

My friends told me that it's unhealthy and abnormal that almost all of the people I've ever looked up to were 'tragic' figures, like Amy Winehouse, Anna Nicole Smith, Courtney Love, etc... Is it actually that weird? Am I normal?

These are I believe people that struggled tremendously with addiction, it has nothing to do with their morality or goodnaturedness, but I don't even consider bad people to exist or be of any use of a mindset to have that such could so maybe I'm not the best one to ask. Generally if you like something that's good.

lol, those are the kind of people you consider 'bad'?? Assuming from the title, I thought you were idolizing people like Jeffrey Dahmer or Hitler or something.
no no, its okay to like and look up to those people you mentioned...I just wouldn't *completely* idolize them. I think over-idolizing other human beings can get creepy or unhealthy(based on how much u idolize them) but, a lot of people do it so I suppose its normal.
