Is it normal that I hurt people who hurt animals?

  • You are right and I did use to think of it like that. In grades 7-10 I refused to eat meat so that they wouldn't need to stock as much, but then I realized one person doesn't matter. You always hear that one person can make a difference, but that isn't true for everything. All the vegetarians do add up to be quite helpful to animals, but when I wouldn't eat meat I didn't feel like I was helping anything. I have three brothers who all eat large amounts of meat on a regular basis, so me not eating animals didn't really do much in my house.

    • Fair enough, but even just a tiny bit less can make a difference-maybe not at home but when you're out etc, it might not seem like a lot at the time but if only 5% of british people are vegetarian, its might not save many animals but it'll save a few and I think that's worth it
