Well I actually do and am not making it up in the least. Rather than bragging about it to people, I hide this fact from most other people and have shared it with only two people in the entire history of my life. Sadly, myself and other people experience inner voices are discriminated against in society if they were to talk about their experiences. To be honest, when it first began to happen, I was rather alarmed as you would expect and it took me a little while to be accept this part of myself so I doubt people just go around lying that they hear voices for attention. Even psychiatrists/psychologists turn their backs on people with these sorts of experiences by sometimes throwing them in insane asylums where they often don't belong and on rare occasion, even keeping them imprisoned there for the rest of their lives when they never did anything illegal or harmed anybody.
Is it normal that I hear voices?
