Is it normal that i have to pee really bad when changing temperatures?

Whenever I, say, walk into my cold house from the 100 degree heat outside (or the other way around) I'll suddenly have to pee reaaally bad to where I'm like wetting my self if I don't get to a bathroom RIGHT away. Is this normal?

  • I often have to urinate really badly when going to areas where the temperature varies greatly (more than about 15 to 20 degrees)...though I haven't yet (as far as I can remember) had to wet before getting to a bathroom (never wet my pants because of it)...

  • Although it doesn't happen to me personally, i would say it's not a big deal unless it does cause you to have accidents or that strong of an urge to go. It sounds like something that is normally mild in some people is stronger than you and they have meds for that, like vesicare. my sis takes that b/c something else she takes makes it easy for her to need to go very badly out of the blue.

  • It's normal to feel the need to pee when entering a cold environment... it happens to me as well. If you're really concerned about it make a doctor's appoinment, just in case.
