There is definitely someone there. For years, I would constantly do the same thing, pull back the curtain after hearing noises only to see an empty tub, until I finally figured out the cause one day.
I walked into the bathroom and heard a noise, as usual. Instead of pulling back the curtain like I normally do, I picked up my shotgun and fired directly at the shower curtain.
I then pulled back the curtain and saw a blood soaked midget under my shattered bathtub, dead. I freaked out and called the cops immediately.
It turns out that the midget was a known sex offender who would spy on people as they went to the bathroom. He had made a crawlspace in his apartment and would crawl under the bathtub and spy through a small hole that he drilled in the side of the tub. I was never charged with anything, but had to pay the landlord for the damages to the bathtub.
I suggest that you do exactly what I did next time you hear a noise.
IIN that I have to open the curtain before I use the bathroom?
