Is it normal that i have this peely patch on my ass?

I am a young adult and about a year ago developed a reasonably sized patch on my left glute, reaching from between my thighs to halfway up the cheek. It is slightly red in color, and has been constantly peeling like a bad sunburn. There is a small accompanying patch on my right side. If scratched, it readily leaks what I believe to be pus. I don't understand where this came from, I shower and wash regularly and thoroughly. What the hell is this?
