If its one of your first relationships, then I would say its very normal, but that doesn't mean you should follow the urge.
Its essentially a case of weighing up the risks and making a commitment.
Its possible that you may in fact find someone 'better' if you left, but thats a dangerous step to take... what if you then wonder if you could find someone better than that person?
Its also possible that you could leave and then find that no one ever matches up to her (theres a reason why the phrase 'the one that got away') is so common.
If I were you, I would make your choice, and then go with it all the way. Because not only is it not fair on her, its not fair on you.
If you decide you want to stay with her and make a go of it, then you can start focusing your energy onto *building* the relationship instead of doubting it.
All relationships involve an element of risk. Just gotta take the plunge. :)
