Is it normal that i have small hands? i am an 18 year old girl and i'm 5'3. I have extremely small hands. i hate it because everytime i meet someone new they comment on them. everyone at my job started making fun of them and asking how i pick things up or "if i have dworfism" in my hands. the more people started commenting on them i started thinking maybe they really are weird looking. i hate being insecure about them i show my hands as least as possible so no one comments on them. When people say anything about my hands i get so sad i cry because i feel like i'm so weird and i genuinely feel like no guy will ever like me because they're so small. I never thought they were that small but i guess they look "like baby hands". They are about 5 3/4 inches from my palm to the tip of my middle finger.

    Your hands are just fine, small hands are feminine.

    I'm a guy, I stand 5'8" or 5'9", and my hands are 7-1/4" from the tip of my middle finger to the base of my palm.

    My S/O stands 5'10", and her hands are MUCH larger than mine. Her hands are a good inch and a half longer than mine. Yes, her hands measure 8-3/4" from the tip of her middle finger to the base of her palm (not counting the length of her nails, when she has her nails grown out).

    We're both fairly thin but she's more sturdy-boned than I am, and her hands and feet are just LARGE. She has larger hands and feet than most men. It's never been a problem for us, in fact I like her hands, but be glad your hands are 5" instead of 8-3/4" like my S/O.

    Based on your measurements, I don't think it sounds like anything to worry about. They certainly are a bit small, but since you're a woman people will consider them dainty and cute and so on. (Except when they want to tease you about it. But they're just jerks and aren't worth listening to if they persist.) The idea that no guy will like you for your hand size is incorrect. That would only be true if your hands were freakishly small, like three inches, and based on what you said they are not nearly small enough to be unattractive.

    That's not weird dude. Idk why you'd be insecure about that. I'm a 5'3 18 year old girl too and I think my hands are just as small. I think it's feminine and cute. My boyfriend is 6'3 and has huge hands and I love it. He told me he thought it was weird how small my hands were when we first met and held hands, but honestly I love that. Even if you don't, at least you're not one of those girls that have huge hands. Guys like girls that are small because it makes them feel more masculine.

    I don't think u got the measurements right. Can u measure them again with a ruler or something?

    Small hands might be synonymous with "feminine hands" cuz girls usually have smaller hands than guys.
