Is it normal that i have recurring dreams of the same person?

I used to go to school with her but we weren't really friends, but lately we've been having a sort of online friendship. Every dream I have involves her, with different settings and they're about us being friends and everything. The dreams make me really happy because I've always wanted to be friends with her but I was too shy and intimidated by the way I thought she was, now I've realized that I judged her life in a bad way and I regret never really talking to her since I moved out of the country, so is this why I keep having these kinds of dreams? Is this normal?
