Last year my husband and I decided to start our own tradition and host a misfits Thanksgiving. I was surprised at how many single parents showed up without their kids as well as lonely hearts that just parted ways with a significant other. We will be doing that again this year.
If you can't find somewhere to go, maybe you can volunteer in a soup kitchen. There are a of people who have nowhere to go.
Thanks! We don't live very close to our families so travel was always stressful. And many of our friends are in the same situation. So we decided to give all our friends a place to go. I'm really looking forward to it.
Is it normal that I have nowhere to go on Thanksgiving?
