Probably not that abnormal for people that were bullied themselves and got through it okay, but that doesn't make it right. Most of the people I saw that were bullied, myself included, never got less weird as they got older. They just fell into weird cliques or had crappy school lives. Peer pressure is already a thing, there doesn't need to be a bully on top of it to make life worse.
