Is it normal that i have no "real friends" but i'm okay with it?

All I do all day (other than work) is sit around my apartment and watch movies and listen to music all day. Any time I go somewhere like to a concert or out to eat (other than the rare occasion i go with someone) it's by myself. But the thing is I'm very happy with it. I never feel like I'm missing anything. And honestly I'm too anti social and awkward to talk to anyone anyway. Anytime I do talk to someone and make a bit of a connection with them, I avoid them. It feels easier to just enjoy my time by myself.

    I get that. I moved away from the (few) friends that I have. While we didn't get to hang out much because of different schedules (as well as other factors), the added distance has just made things worse... I've taken to commuting lately, and that helps some. I'm at a coffee shop currently, checking out some new music and waiting on the girlfriend to get off work so we can figure out what's for dinner. Anyways, if it doesn't bother you and you're happy, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    I only have one friend but I also okay with it.. I know how it feels

    I am kinda like that but honestly I don't enjoy being alone and doing things alone. I just can't sustain the social effort that developing new friendships require

    I have friends that I can go out with but I always make sure that they don't get too close. For example, I make sure that they'll never be comfortable just coming home without being invited.

    I really have not many friends,but then again im a mom & my life revolves around my son. I do nothing but stay home! #momlife
