Is it normal that I have no one to turn to?

  • Of course pharmaceutical medication isn't going to help (the pharm industry is a complete scam), things aren't caused by "chemical imbalances" in your brain. You have emotional problems that YOU need to find the source of, so that you can then figure out the solution. And in the meantime, there are many natural remedies that you can try. http://www.wellsphere.com/stress-management-art...

And as far as the having no one to turn to goes. You can NOT expect others to love you until you love yourself. Be happy with you, the things that make you unique, your personality, and exude confidence with yourself, and you will find people who are happy with you as well.

    • The pharmaceutical industry is NOT a "complete scam" although some sections of it are definitely corrupt and irresponsible.. Do you never ever take anything manufactured in that industry?

I wouldn't be alive without modern medicine and the pharmaceutical industry but I too would be very wary of medication for anxiety/depression type conditions until just about everything else has been tried.

Chemical changes in the brains of people with psych conditions has been well documented for many years: the issue is whether the imbalance caused the condition or the other way around. Either way, for some people medication does work, while for others it doesn't work or the side effects aren't worth it.

Great that you added the links after annoying me with your opening sweeping statements! Would you concede that some people with entrenched emotional problems might need to take medication to lift the depression a bit so they can get into some real healing? Sort of like painkillers for your toothache until you can get to the dentist?

    • Not sure why I was thumbed down, this is the best advice you'll ever get in your life. Unless big pharma thumbed me down for trying to let people know there is a natural cure for everything with zero side effects, unlike their synthetic drugs which have more side effects than medicinal effects.
