Is it normal that i have no interest in living?
Just living to see your parents grow old and die? Otherwise, trying to fund anti ageing research or work in that field with no guarantees that any cure to ageing will be found?

Honey, I know it ain't easy. I turned 50 last November, and now both my parents are in their 80s, yet whenever I sleep I am miraculously 30 years younger. Mother Nature is a cruel mistress, and Father Time ain't never been no friend of mine!
Unfortunately the only way out of this mess is through it! Yes, I believe in God, and an afterlife, but I hope there are animals there!
You just need to find reasons to live, you might have to live without those reasons for a while, but while you're alive you can rationalize those reasons and work on them, if you're dead then there literally won't be reasons
Why not just die? The only reasons I found for not dying are-
1)What if you fail at your attempt
I dunno, I lived without reasons for a long time and it was almost like I wasn't even thinking
Then I wanted things to change, I started studying psychology and other things, and things have gotten better
Wanting to die is nothing new in psychology, it's a deviation with causes and symptoms, it's a defense mechanism
I've got another reason. If it turns out your beliefs are wrong, there is a god, and that god doesn't like suicide, you may suffer eternal damnation for it.
It actually is different, with what we can observe anyway, because as far as we can prove anyway once you're dead you're gone
All the hope, belief, and faith in the world won't create a heaven if it doesn't exist to begin with
There’s no heaven or hell at all. And no point applying any logic or science to a place you can’t study using it. Well you can, but it’s not in your best interest to know, so nobody is going to do it for you.
It’s pretty much the same as here. A bit darker yes, a bit spookier definitely, but that’s about it.
I think as animals we are curious about environment though, and mentally we are designed to develop neural pathways to interact with our environment
I think the bacteria on the planet just developed and changed and eventually led to eco systems of species, in ways to interact uniquely with their environment, and eventually a brain of a species developed with many overlaying elements of fields of consciousness/perception/awareness, meaning humans
By here, do you mean on Earth? I think defining and understanding our environment is a great way to lead an enriching life. There's beauty just in existence, in witnessing it as well, with all the work that went into cultivating life on this planet and it not having been destroyed by the seemingly infinite possibilities of the cosmos, let alone in our own back yard
Your post is all about choice. You can choose, or you can choose not to choose. Let me help you with this quote.
"Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suit on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life..."
You see 1,000 years from now there will be no guys and no girls, just wankers. That's why I choose to wank. You should try it. You can choose.
