Is it normal that i have no idea how to interact with babies?

I'm the same way. I end up just looking at them awkwardly. Not liking kids may be my problem though haha.

I had one 14 years ago! Mind numbing until he could learn to talk and use the toilet himself. Now I'm hating the teenage stage so hope he'll move out soon.

I also am uncomfortable around babies. I think its because they puke.

Yea...one time I said "hello" to a baby like it was an adult or something...idiot

Just talk to them. They may not understand you, but they're listening. A friend of mine has a one year old, and I showed him a map of Italy, and he looked so fascinated lol. I always grab baby hands and play with their fingers. They're so soft:)

Just smile. And when they get past about four years old, then the fun really starts. Well, especially for me because I have a four year old brain and I'll use any excuse to act like a kid.

you only have to smile, you dont have to say much .

I usually just smile at babies and they smile back. Also when they didnt just fill their pampers babies smell like Natures shampoo. Or maybe just their own shampoo. Anyhoo, point of the story is that I now have nerve damage on my left hand from punching the window.

LOL FUNNY me to I am so horrible around little kids idk what to do! Its awkward ad uncomfortable and I just wanna get out of there and I accidentally sometimes end up calling them like a doggy like I'll whistle and blow kisses for them to come and be like "come on come on come here xD" lolol

I like to make funny faces and try to make them laugh.
