I think MOST girls at some time get curious about their own body. And explore it. See how it reacts when they stimulate it. Maybe not until climax, seeing how orgasms can be hard to achieve for quite a few women.
But stimulation of your private parts still falls under masturbation, even if you don't go all the way.
It also seems a bit strange(again, personal opinion) that you have Anal Sex with your husband, but he's not allowed to "touch you" down there? Don't get me wrong, i simply don't understand how the one thing is okay, but the other somehow isn't?
Also it's fine if you are generally not interested in it, but does that mean you never get horny unless your husband initiates intercourse? What do you do if you are alone while he's at work? Simply ignore the feeling until it goes away? Or is there more to it as to why you wouldn't even consider touching yourself as an option?

But in my eyes, during puberty, sometime curiosity should have gotten the better of you. If you developed normal and your hormone levels did as well, you should have been horny, curious, etc...the fact you never even "considered" the option of touching yourself somehow suggests to me that you were imprinted with a negative view upon self-stimulation at a younger age. Of course i may be wrong, but i'd still wonder why you'd never given in to curiosity during puberty otherwise.

But nope - my parents never put me off sex, and I wasn't frightened to try masturbation - I just didn't want to.

Ah, sorry i had that confused. I just assumed it's what you meant...to be honest, i don't know how it's "shortened" in english, i just couldn't find anything else with "AS" that would have made sense to me there. I totally didn't think of an illness...
well, it IS an autism spectrum disorder, so that changes quite a bit, as that may well play into this then. I worked with kids with slight autistic disorders, and well, in some respects, your brain simply "ticks" different ^_^
I see no reason why that shouldn't be the case in regard to this. While i maintain that any young lady will usually at least be curious enough about her own body to end up stimulating herself in some form(although quite possibly not to orgasm), maybe that curiosity was, for example, simply lacking in you, and what would have been an awakening sexuality with hornyness issues may well have been supressed in you and never surfaced.
So in that case, i'd re-vote to blame AS for it :) Although i could not tell you if its normal in THAT case...i only have enough experience in cases not involving such factors :)

Maybe, because when I have sex I get really turned on - easily.
But alone, I just don't like the idea.
