I supose you could look at it that way, but consider the bigger picture, what if their family found out? How would you feel if you discovered your relatives were doing this?
If/ when this, shall we say, 'friends with benefits' comes to an end will it not be awkward between them, potentially causing family tension?
Or what if they had a serious relationship and went on to have birth defected children together?
If it were me being in a relationship with my cousin, I could care less about the opinion of the rest of the family and if it were some relatives of me I really wouldn't mind either...
You know that even with your first cousin the chance of having defected children is only about doubled (6%-8%) compared to common relationships (2%-4%)...
With a second cousin the chance is about the same and for third cousins it's the same...
I find it hard to believe that you genuinely wouldn't even be a little disturbed if you found out that your relatives were doing this, but even if you personally wouldn't be I think the majority of the population would.
As for the issue of children, even if the increased risk of genetic birth defects is small there is still the issue of how they will feel when they find out that they were conceived in incest and their parents are cousins. I don't know about you, but I would personally be horrified at such a discovery.
It's only due to society's view on this kind of relationship... A few hundreds of years marrying your cousin was perfectly normal and the most common or preferred marriage...
If I found out that my parents are cousins, so be it... Sure it'd be kinda weird but I had to accept it and live with it...
Is it normal that i have made out with 3 of my cousins?

When I read the title I assumed you were just remembering playing as children.
I think you already know that this is incest and needs to stop.

There's absolutely no reason why two mature human beings should stop doing something that brings pleasure to both of them...
