could be Tuberculosis , ask him for a Tuberculin skin test. then get back to me and i'll tell him what to do next. sometimes TB lesions in the lung improve with normal antibiotic but you are left with TB infection. Could be lung cancer. Could be anything. One thing is for sure , if you dont find the problem , it will kill you. Pain is a reliable indicator of a problem.
