She used to be a track coach but you have chubby cheeks? So what! My dad used to be an auto mechanic but my car isn't running well. What does one thing have to do with the other?
She is trying to say that the reason why the cheeks are a problem is because she does a lot of running, presumably because her aunt was a coach. She says this about her aunt to avoid getting responses like "why are you running everywhere" and "stop running then".
