I have an ongoing story in my head. Well, a few, actually. While I am not the focal point of the story, one of the main characters is usually an off-shoot of myself.
I imagine it as an anime. Not one of those wildly popular ones like Naruto or One Piece, but one of those kind of cult classic animes that have a lot of very loyal fans but aren't as flaunted like Evangelion or Chobits. Popular, but nothing like DBZ or something like that. Does that make sense?
Sometimes, when I hear a certain song or something, I imagine a scene that would correlate with it or a character that jives really well with that song. They all have names and backgrounds and the people that read it or watch it really appreciate the characters. I play out the scenes in my head and man...
Compared to how intricate my little "animes" are, what you do probably seems a lot more normal.
That's interesting. Some of the elements in my story do revolve around anime as well.
Actually, they revolve around any movie, anime, show, or cartoon I've ever watched, from the age of 8 as I said. What started all of it was actually a cartoon show, the Winx Club, so it revolves a lot around fairies and magic.
As I got older, the themes got more ''mature'' I guess. But there is still a lot of fantasy left to it. If you could imagine a mash-up of several shows and movies, that's what my story would look like, roughly said.
IIN that I have an on-going story in my head where I'm the hero?
