Is it normal that i have an intense fear of mall santas?

To elaborate, not only will I frantically avoid mall Santas, but any people in any sort of large suit, such as the ones worn at Disneyland (Mickey Mouse costumes etc.)

The level of fear is similar to a mid-level panic attack, and I have been this way for as long as I can remember.
The only childhood photo of me on Santa's lap is one where I have a look of pure fear on my face.

I don't know where this phobia came from, but it has not abated even though I have grown out of most other childhood fears.

I think everybody is at least a little scared of those things no matter what they want to say. God, I hate those people in costumes at Disneyland (and chuck e cheese is even worse)

I’m getting flashbacks to a friends birthday party in elementary school when I hid under a table crying because I was so terrified of Chuck E. Cheese.

I have actively avoided Chuck E. Cheese's all my life, I'm truly sorry you had to go through such an ordeal.

While maybe uncommon. Such a phobia is normal and understandable. Those things are creepy.
