Is it normal that i have an intense dislike for christians?

I don't understand why you hate me, I'm a pretty cool person.

1) I don't always talk about Christianity. In fact, it's pretty far down on my list of things I talk about with non-church folk. In more fact, if I want to have a good discussion of Christianity, I will do it with my church friends. If you could complain of me talking about anything too much, it's cars. I love talking about cars. And pokemon.

2) I'm not always trying to get people into Christianity. But I will continue spreading the gospel of the V8 for the rest of my life.

3) I don't believe I have ever told anyone that they are going to hell. Except for Ted Bundy. He's definitley going to hell. But even that is debatable. I'm not God.

4) There are very few people that I actually LOATHE and not because of their sexual identity of preferences.

Jerks are jerks. Religion is just a great catalyst to channel the energy of the negative into. Sorry if you've dealt with some bad Christians, and I can't speak for the rest, but I love my fellow man and no matter what any church official tells me, I know that I am in no way able to speak for God.

Not all Christians are bad, in fact their beliefs are pretty varied.

let me tell you i do hate Christian's im not a god or church kind of guy at all im just not and probably never will get into to that stuff or any other im not a queer either.

what does your christian people think about the use of marijuana or what do you think because god made that its one of his plants like tobacco is or would you say as they would no its bad your going to hell thats why i would say fuck them and their bible

What about Jehovahs witnesses? They're a type a Christian.. Do you hate them to? They go door knocking and some dedicate their life to do preaching work.. I've done bible study lessons with them and they seem like very nice people. I've heard people say they brainwash others into thinking god will someday save the world and all that stuff. But I think they're pretty genuine and average people

I was also raised in a Christian family and I think you'r right about what you say in your post.

Sure, Jesus said to go and make disciples of all nations, but they're going about it wrong and sometimes breaking other fundamental Christian principles in the process.

Let me comment paragraph for paragraph...
1. Even to other Christians, We already know how great God is, so it does get annoying if they keep telling us.
2. Aren't they going about it wrong if their attempt to convert you pushes you further away...? They're obviously failing miserably in this then.
3. It's not for them to decide whether you go to Heaven or Hell. They're not allowed to judge other people, that's something only God can do.
4. Even if God hates gays (or rather he hates people being homosexual rather than the people themselves), It is not our business to hate them. God doesn't want his people hating each other.

I feel as though hating on a group of people without considering that it is a group composed of individuals who may or may not feel the way that you have outlined is probably not a great thing to do.

That being said, people who use their religion as a vessel for propagating hatred and violence are fair game in my book.

I'm an Atheist. I don't dislike Christianity. It's the people I dislike. They're always trying to force their religion upon me. My best friend is a Christian. She doesn't want to be so up tight on religion. Her mother is very strict. Her mother wouldn't let her go to the school of her choice (Which is an excellent school; an art school) because there were 'supposedly' too many gays. My grandmother was a lesbian after my grandfather left her.
I think its the people you dislike. It seems like they try to force the religion upon people and you are irritated.

I am a christian and I don't feel that homosexuality is correct however I don't despise and detest homosexuals I would be friends with one. I feel that it is not man's job to punish or to condemn homosexuals to hell and damnation with words, and for theese reasons I accept homosexuals god loves all his children and it is not man's job to punish or judge.

Christianity is popular because it promotes forgiveness for those who have sinned, no matter how bad the commited sin is. Of course some Christians are going to be bad people that are trying to become better people.

Ever since martin luther posted the 95 thesis on the vatican door, christianity diversity has sky-rocketed(or sooner, i'm also a disliker of christians and I have no real reason to study the entirety of the religion). there has been several "branches" of christianity, mostly where people make up there own beliefs on/of god(ex: lutherans, mormans, Baptists, etc.). It shows how easily the mind longs for satisfaction, especially on the great questions like: how'd we get here, what is our purpose? But through time, the thinkers propose new ideas and theorys on our coming about, and some are believed by several idiots, and even some intelligent people.....So even though it would seem easy to just "hate" religion, you need to realise it's only relative to the human nervous system, Ex: we wouldn't view murder, stealing or any crime wrong if we only viewed it relative TO the human nervous system.....the grass isn't green, dog's are color blind, to them, it's grey(most likely). on the other hand......Yes, I hate christianity but, through time Ihave learned that it's not the christians fault, it's his parents, and there parents, and all the way to the creator of the parables we call the bible, and then the creators parents. What this says is that people only believe what they want to believe, by relative to there up-bringing, and early views. granted in some cases(like my own), people stray from the path there parents have chosen, but in the end, they grow there views just like there parents and the child only coverges to the ultimate questions....and tries to find his/her own path, creating different theorys made relative to, the human nervous system..........Also, everything I said was my own opinions and theory( Gravity is a theory, jump off a fucking house and see how that ends up).

If you are knocking Christians, then you are knocking Christianity also.

There are all kinds of people in the world. Not all Christians are the same. You should not generalise the whole population of Christians based on those which you know.

There are different branches of Christianity. And yes, the Bible says it all.

They are not being hypocritical because they are sticking to what the Bible says.

You, on the other hand, are disliking all Christians based on your personal views.
