Is it normal that i have a strange looking vagina?

Im my culture people did or, still do?, pull the libia minora, I think thats the name, until it is elongated - abount an inch or so.
They said it made child birth easier I later found out it was for mens sexual pleasure!
I was advised to do this as a teen by my mother & aunts. And yes, I regret doing it.
Short of surgery I don't think it can be reversed.
My question is, is this normal are there any other cultures that do this?

Is It Normal?
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • It's not normal in British culture, but I'm wondering, how can it be for a man'd pleasure? Just wondering how that would work.

I mean, it looks great if a girl's labia kinda grip around the penis during sex. Like, when you pull out, the labia kinda drag out on it. But, not sure how it could be anything other than a visual aid.

  • What culture are you from? I don't remember ever hearing about a culture that did that.... I know in Africa some tribes circumcise The woman as a way for her not to feel pleasure. Some people have even died from the pain. Just like male circumcision it's a form of mutilation, but for men it seems not to be as severe.

Actually I know that some African cultures that still do it to this day. My ex had female circumcision done on her. I gotta admit I read a lot about how to pleasure a woman but I wasn't prepared for that. Lol. But even with her virtually not having a clitoris, I was still able to give her orgasms. I've never gotten the chance to go down on another woman. I'm wondering how I would do on a typical women due to that special circumstance.

  • I heard of culture once that did circumcision on women, it really grossed me out. I can't remember the actual name of the culture but I think it was a tribe thing.

Apparentely it still happens sometimes these days...

  • I'm British but my culture has nothing like that. It sounds painful as well, can I ask where you're from, just out of curiosity?
