Is it normal that i have a mole on my upper thigh?

I have an ugly raised mole on my upper thigh near my vagina and I am very self conscious about it. I am very attractive and having something like this on my body really bothers me. I have had sex before and no one has ever had a problem with it but I'm getting very serious with a new guy and I want to move farther but I keep feeling very self conscious about it. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to remove it but I have a needle phobia. Guys if I was your girlfriend would this bother you?

    Wouldnt bother me at all. You should get over your fear of needles tho.
    Ive heard of a pill that people who have extreme fears like needles or snakes or flying can take to temporarily get them over their anxiety. Not sure what its called tho.

    If you truly do care, can't you have it removed? I've removed two by choice and a third by doctors recommendation. The procedure is quick and easy.
