Is it normal that i have a major crush on my 2ic?

I'm 18 years old, and I'm a bottom level employee at a small retail store. My assistant manager is 27, single, and totally mind blowing. He's funny, intelligent, kind... And I've fallen hard for his charming ways! We have a good relationship at work, we banter and tease each other a lot (just like the rest of the team) but it's starting to get overwhelming. I know that if he got to know me properly, he'd be surprised at my maturity, but he only ever sees me at work. It's almost certain that he thinks I'm far too young, and probably a little foolish girl, but I feel that sometimes there is a little bit of flirting between us. Is it normal to think I may have a chance? Or am I just a silly young girl?

      Eep! I can't ever imagine us hanging out outside of work. He sometimes gives me lifts home but I'm pretty sure he's just not interested. Something I didn't say - he does laugh and tell me that I'd get along with his little sister cause she's 18 too
