Is it normal that i have a cursh on a guy i barely know?

So there's a guy who's in two of my classes. I remember I talked to him like 3 months ago and he was a pretty nice guy. I didn't take any interest in him until I went to see the school musical and I he was in it. I was curious because he looked really familiar. When i finally found who the guy was on fb, I found his tumblr. And through his tumblr, I've been developing this small crush on him. It's kind of strange because other than his tumblr, I know nothing about him.

    You can have a crush on someone you're attracted to (or curious about)..isn't that how it starts??

    This happens all the time. You've formed this connection with him because you recognized him from places and you like him because you are imagining what he could be like, making inferences based on his profiles.
