Is it normal that i have a crush on my chemistry teacher?

I want to tell him, he's not the kind of teacher to react in a hurtful way but I still don't know what to do. He's all I think about and I fall for older guys a lot. It's not just because he's older either, there are other reasons, normal reasons like why you may love your partner. He's funny, nice, caring, etc.

    I know a lot of people that are attracted to their teacher but don't tell him. If he were attracted to you too (and wanted to risk his job) he'd make a step towards you...
