I'd never really watched the show, so I was thinking it might not be normal considering that atleast one character is a talking dog. Looking at her, she is pretty cute. I've had crushes on countless fictional characters, and all where human except Vriska from Homestuck, who was only humanoid. for me it's not so much about what the characters look like, but their personality. I suppose I'm the same way in actual reciprocated human relationships.
