Is it normal that i have a crush on a teacher who is 18years older?

I am worried that I might have had a crush on my liberal study teacher.

I have been very greatful about him as he invited me to join a group competition. He knows well about my weaknesses and hope I can go through it.
I always talk about him with my friends and I often have a dream about him (eg, seeing him teaching in a classroom, he give me some project to do..)
Sometimes I even think that would be nice if I can be older. He is so cool and caring. He tries hard to help students. He always say that no female love him so he is alone (to all classmates). Moreover, although he is 34 already, I think his mind is young.

These few days I suddenly realise my feeling about him is a bit different. I know its impossible to be with him as our ages are too different. But still, when I see him I would be happy and energetic.
What can I do? :(

    Thats thoughtful but just keep your thoughts to yourself because it mostly doesnt get anywhere and he is a little too older for you, you're a kid in his eyes most probably. He'll get someone and so will you he seems a nice person though.

    go put urself out for him... atleast before dying u'll have the satisfaction of knowing whether he was interested or not, or whether this whole -can't-coz-of-age thing could've actually worked

    otherwise hold ur thoughts and bury 'em deep. concentrate on ur studies rather than daydreaming.

    my guess is u are 14 or 15.. happens a lot kid

    34year old guy is "young" but they dont usually show it. Wait till you turn 18 and then make your move(if you are nice looking, else spare him the trouble of turning you down)

    Crush.

    I had quite a few. One I was 17 and the teacher about 50. Other I was 19 and the teacher about 30. Another with an imaginary teacher XP (me being 18 and him about 30).

    I agree with what lululu said.
    And maybe one day when you are 18 (other way it may be illegal) (or even now XP) you can try to cantact that teacher again :) and talk or something.
