      Actually back that far there wasn't even racism to speak of, not against blacks at least. There was racism against Jews but there was not really much, if any, discrimination against blacks living in Europe during that period. As long as they were church going, God worshiping, Christian people blacks were treated perfectly fairly during that period of time
