Don't know why but I hate when people say wank. Is it a British thing or something??? Can't they just say jerk off!??! fuck it, wank on, I guess.....

    It is a British phrase for male masturbation (mostly) but I don't see any problem with it. To me it's like asking why Americans say sidewalk and I say pavement, there's no difference just because it's a different word, it's the same thing.
