Is it normal that i hate when guys show that they like me?

I absolutely HATE it when guys show any kind of interest in me that isn't just friendly and/or sexual. I can find a guy totally attractive, but as soon as he starts trying to ask me out, I think he's really unattractive and lame and I want to get away as fast as I can. I've had one semi-serious boyfriend and it ended because I was kinda treating it like friends with benefits rather than a relationship (yep he broke up with me because I was just focused on the sex and playing video games with him and not enough on doing couple stuff). I can be friends with a guy, or I can just hook up with him, but I can't stand dating and relationships. I've ended up alienating a bunch of guys because they get all cocky or awkward and I just want to crawl away. I also hate all the "cute" aspects of relationships that all my friends seem to love.
Have I just not met the right guy yet? I don't want to die alone with cats or continue my current habits too much, because I don't want to have a bad reputation.

Is It Normal?

  • Most guys would love a girl that just liked to screw and play video games.
I think you need to find a soul mate that feels as you do.

  • I'd look into personality psychology, because those models might explain that you just have a more 'masculine' personality

  • There was a time I'd push women away in much the same way. Why are we humans so stupid?

  • You'd rather be ugly, unwanted and ignored? Be careful what you wish for.

  • haha, cats!!! XD jokes. "I don't want to die alone" um i think everyone dies alone, i haven't heard of a couple that dies on the same day (naturally) maybe relationships are not that attractive to you.

  • Your afraid of intimacy, affection, and commitment ...it is just a language your don't know...you will end up either a lonely sex addict or worse...get counseling

  • You sound like a female version of me.

  • It's not usual but it sounds like you're just not into the mushy stuff. That's okay. You'll eventually find a guy who also isn't into the mushy stuff. It doesn't mean you can't have a relationship - it just means you'll have to look a little harder for that one guy with similar vibes.
