Is it normal that i hate these phrases?

Am I the only one that is confused as HELL in this post? Exactly which phrases do you hate? Are all the sentences in the post phrases that you hate; what are the specific ones?

Don't really get what people don't understand. The poster is saying complaining about 'these days' is stupid as they aren't that bad compared to the rest of history.

Well a lot of people use the phrases "nowadays" and "these days" to complain about something they think used to be better, usually elderly, and that can be really annoying. But if people say stuff like "The food is a lot more tasty these days" (lol) I don't really mind.
