i agree with every word you say,i have similar situation where i cant leave the UK for another year and i hate every hour spent here,people will never want to know you if you speak with a foreign accent,-they are either ignoring you or barge in with some mean 'friendliness' and awkward questions why you here why come here why not go back to Your country and all the rest of it,displaying unbelievable amounts of arrogance and ignorance,talking crap about your nationality and laughing to their own jokes,-thats exactly how Edinburgh is,-the most racist and stuck up place in Britain.i lived there for a year and literally fled from all the abuse,i'm now in Leeds,and even after 2years i still get panic attacks when i spot the word 'Angus' or 'Scottish' in supermarket,-how sad is that?!!! i dont even know if i hate scotland,i recon i wish it never existed or i never been there or i never existed or one of those lol.Good luck,hun.Olga,27,russian.
