Is it normal that i hate the pear shape?

I'm pear shaped, I'm 5'3 and I weigh 127 lbs. Even if I'm 32 yo I'm obsessed about being pear shaped. Sometimes people tells me that men really like wide hips but I think they are irritating, like they are trying to make me happy but they are lying.
Years ago my friend told me that miniskirts would look bad on me because I have wide hips and then she added "But men like wide hips". That sounds like she was lying so now I think I'll prefer someone who tells me "I don't like your body" because that sound like the truth.
Also I have fat legs and wide hips but my bum is flat, even if it's large, so I don't have the Kim Kardashian look that someone say it's attractive.

I don't care if men find me attractive so I prefer if they don't try to say "But men likes the pear shape".

    Actually, I do think a skirt would look better on wide hips than a slender one. It gives more shape and the skirt would too.
    Maybe you just should try one on when you intend to buy one.
    It is okay if you do not like it, because only a few people truly like their bodyshapes.
    And never say again Kim Kardashian is attractive, at least for me she is the anti-way of being it. She is so fake and ugly too.
    Her proportions are too extreme.

    Its hard for me to honestly comment about your body because you haven't posted pictures. I can tell you one of the hottest girls I've ever seen is Valentina Nappi. She has the pear shaped hips and shes an ANGEL.

    I am shorter than you girl! 5'1" I work hard for this butt. My boobs are small so I am pear shaped. Fucknhater bitches and gay men. They are just jealous.

    Can you link some pics of what you consider "pear-shaped"? I know guys, myself included, like the hourglass shape, but I've never really heard anyone talk about liking or disliking a "pear-shape".

    Big hips are good though. I'm just speculating since I'm normally focused on the bottom if I'm looking down there, lol, but I imagine a lot of guys sub/consciously like wide hips since they provide a clear evolutionary benefit.

    Have whatever opinion you want! Of course it’s normal to not like a certain body type. Maybe if you dislike it so much and have it yourself you should attempt to lose some of the weight on your legs? (I actually prefer the pear-shaped body but it’s all preference yknow)

    Kim Kardashian is disgusting.

    I like the pear shaped butt, although I am not into huge legs that could crush me like a vice grip.

    Who cares anyway. Just love yourself and the body God gave you. Most men will fuck anything anyway so just be the best person you can be and the looks will take care of themselves.

    No one wants to be around someone who is constantly worried about their looks. Confidence trumps looks almost every time.

        Exactly, I beilive I'm attractive most days now and my general mood has improved. I'm still hella shy though wich doesnt help approachability but hey baby steps

      I don't think that Kim Kardashian is attractive. I wanted to say that some people say men likes the pear shaped because of the big butt and mine is large but it's flat!

        For real I wouldn't worry. In my experience men like a variety of body types. Stick with the ones who find you attractive and never change for a man.

          I mentioned men because people are always telling me that I have wide hips but men find them attractive. They sound like they are lying to make me happy so it's irritating.
