I share this strange feeling. I don't like the way they smell, either. In fact, of the five senses, the only one they don't offend is the sense of sight.
I joke around a lot but I am actually serious about this. When you rub them between your fingers, it just feels weird and it makes that odd indescribable noise. It sends a bit of a shiver down my spine. Anyway, high five to you. At least we're not alone in this!
