The 2000's isn't as memorable as the 60's,70's,80's, or the 90's. It's like as if all the charm just disappeared. It's very boring.
The music sucks. So does the fashion and the people. I hate Katy Perry and pop stars like Britney spears. I hate the stupid dub step songs. They all sound the same. What happened to the good artist like John Lennon?
Each era had like a distinct thing to it, like retro, color, big hair, disco, etc. What do we have? Middle eastern crises, sex on daytime tv, celebrities proud to be whores, young girls taking slutty photos... We are in such a great era! Appreciate ! *insert sarcasm here*
I was born in the 90s, this century is bollocks, i do like dubstep .etc but music like justin bieber, rebbeca black (list goes on) are just daft and the fact is that people actually love them and just get brainwashed makes me think, in 20 years time; what is the world going to be like. Hovering cars, Wi-Fi Food? Worlds turning in for the worst...

I'm totally with you on this. I sometimes wish I were born back in the 60's or 70's. And you're right the music was definitely better then.
Take a look around you. People say that this age is just a copy cuz those 70 80 and 90s fashions are all coming back a bit

As for hating the 2000s, I only hate them because of the economy going to hell, widespread suppression of our freedoms, and the corporate takeover of democracy.

this is the reason so many people are depressed cause everything is superficial and shallow and people are yearning for the truth and a better quality of life.
there was way more freedom back before the 2000's
you could smoke anywhere
there was not really any one way roads
the alleyways were not blocked
all these shit rules about noise pollution and ting didnt exist
people could have house parties
people were more happier and communtity orientated
people used to visit and link up with people without phones
now theres phone everyhere and thats all people do text rubbish and look on their phone and dont link up with no one
people had more confidence and trusted others more back then
werent so petty and selfish
people were more creative and had good ears for music back then
the last generation that was good like that were the 70's born generation all over the world when the 80's born and after came in they slowly abandoned these proper ways and ruined things.
2000's is deadstock
people have become sheep and stupid,no one dont use their brain again look how advanced the music was back in the day now you got most people making crap that you dont even remember after the tunes finished.
Oh come on people! Are we just focusing on the negatives? In my opinion if we still have Linkin Park and Coldplay then bands aren't so bad. we can make the 2000's better by focusing on the things we like listening to and doing. But seriously people need to start a petition on getting 16 and pregnant canceled, because in my eyes television is encouraging teens to get pregnant by putting on shows like Jersey Shore and 16 and pregnant. .______.
I'm 18. This era is fine if you grew up in it and your not a fucking nerd who sits on the computer and jerks off to runes scape. If you were brought up in this era, you will like the music in this era( for the most part). Everyone has different Taste. Look a Justin bieber. Kids love that little fuck. So even though your not caught up with the times, it's a great era for those who appreciate what we have infront of us.
Yes you are so right. Children this era are little peices of shit. This era teaches you to be lazy and irresponsible and violent. It teaches you if you beat up another child it is alright because you did not know he had a health condition. It is ok to be a disrespectful little hoodlum. Not to mention everything is done by computer which means a lack of writing skills is a sure thing of the wonderful future. A lot of people are jobless and still live with parents. So look at the bright future that is to come. Hate, racism, attitude, sloth, jobless and homeless along with sex and violence a long with a lack of basic skills such as writing! Love the new world! WE ARE DOOMED! Soon people will not be able to read as a computer will read for them! Thank you audible books.

The music is R&B. I'm not a fan, but there's lots of other stuff. Pop seems to be getting more popular now, but we're not in the 00's anymore. Brittany Spears is usually thought of as the 90's anyway.
There have been recessions, wars and other bad stuff almost constantly over the last 100 years, not look at them with nostalgia goggles.
Have you tried listening to underground or mid-level music? It's better than the super mainstream stuff.
