Maybe, In my opinion it is. It could be used for good or evil. I've seen how much it has helped others. Everyone has to believe in something and most turn to religion. I'm just glad they have something to turn to.
There was someone I met a few years ago, he wanted to take his life away because he felt there was nothing else he could do. He felt so helpless that he didn't know who to turn to. That's when he told me he found hope in God. He was able to become stronger because of it. I don't think that was weak and spineless. Like education is a tool for your future, religion is a tool for hope when all else feels lost. This is my opinion and no matter how much you don't agree with it, it won't change.
