I think feeling bad IS normal frankly. Look at the society we live in. How can anyone be happy in this crap we call "life"?
And be thankful you are gay, it means you're not like everyone else and you won't contribute to the population which is steadily rising. (almost 7 billion people currently).
Heterosexuality stinks, they're ruining everything and think they call the shots for everyone else.
