I learnt to not worry about what others think of me, the only thing I care about is if I'm happy and be kind while not causing harm to the friend and not trying to be a people-pleaser either, because if they don't like me they can just leave and I don't want to be a doormat to be stepped on.
If they hate you and don't want to be near you, ditch them, or at least don't make an effort to please them.
I'm sure most people don't hate you, most people don't even notice you, not because they dislike you but because they're also immersed in their own insecurities or just don't like to make efforts to be your friend too.
If you want to, just give yourself love, do things for yourself while also not being too selfish. Worrying doesn't bring you anything, so just don't.
I'm not sure it this is good advice but at least it's what made me stop crying in school and in my bed when I was little.
Is it normal that I hate myself and that I know my friends hate me too?
