I think most of my in-laws will talk badly behind my back. However, since they don't do it to my face, I have no reason to confront them and destroy the happy family show we got going on. If she is being annoying, perhaps you could try talking to your girlfriend about it first before you confront her. There will be haters, you know you're doing your best and you owe her nothing, so don't let the words of a messed-up, rather hypocritical person bother you. Why care for the words of someone you don't care for at all?
